Skin overview

Field-Tested is where the case-hardened colours start to share space with bare grey metal. The blue and gold mottling is still clearly visible on the slide and frame, while the muzzle and edges show silver wear. The result looks like a used service pistol rather than a showpiece, which many players prefer.

Item type: pistol. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

The finish style is case hardening.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The slide, barrel shroud and frame are coated in case-hardened steel: deep blue and violet patches mixed with bronze, copper and pale gold spots. The colours shift unevenly along the slide, around the ejection port and across the trigger guard, so no two areas look the same.

The muzzle, slide edges and rail teeth show visible silver wear, and the colours on the front of the slide look slightly washed out. The blue and gold mottling on the sides of the slide and frame remains clear. In game the pistol still reads as a coloured case-hardened gun. Upper float copies show noticeably more bare metal than lower ones.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Heat Treated ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir Desert Eagle | Heat Treated belongs to Limited Edition Item, which holds 4 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Among 5 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Classified grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold and holo stickers echo the bronze spots of the tempering, while blue or chrome designs blend into the steel. Placements along the slide work best because the grip panels are plain grey.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the pattern, because the amount of blue versus gold on the slide differs from copy to copy.
  • Look at the float within the wear range, since the muzzle and slide edges lose colour first.
  • View the playside of the slide, as that is the part you see most in game.
  • Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether they suit the colours.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who like a used, working look on the Desert Eagle.
  • Buyers who want clear colours at a moderate cost.
  • A solid everyday option for play.
