Skin overview
At Well-Worn the oxidised colours are noticeably duller and scattered between areas of worn metal. The skin keeps its identity through the remaining blue patches on the flat sides of the slide. It suits players who want the Heat Treated look on a weathered gun.
Item type: pistol. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
The finish style is case hardening.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The slide, barrel shroud and frame are coated in case-hardened steel: deep blue and violet patches mixed with bronze, copper and pale gold spots. The colours shift unevenly along the slide, around the ejection port and across the trigger guard, so no two areas look the same.
Bare metal spreads from the edges onto the slide top, the rail and the front of the frame. The remaining colours look duller and broken into separate patches. In game the gun reads as grey steel with blue tints. The centre of the slide sides keeps most of the pattern.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Heat Treated ranges from 0 to 1; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 7% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir Desert Eagle | Heat Treated belongs to Limited Edition Item, which holds 4 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Among 3 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Classified grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold and holo stickers echo the bronze spots of the tempering, while blue or chrome designs blend into the steel. Placements along the slide work best because the grip panels are plain grey.
What to check before buying
- Check the pattern, because the amount of blue versus gold on the slide differs from copy to copy.
- Look at the float within the wear range, since the muzzle and slide edges lose colour first.
- View the playside of the slide, as that is the part you see most in game.
- Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether they suit the colours.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Players who prefer a weathered steel gun.
- Budget buyers who still want visible tempering.
- A cheaper way to keep the skin's character.
