Skin overview
Desert Eagle | Heat Treated covers the pistol in a case-hardened finish: mottled blue steel with patches of violet, bronze and straw-gold. In Factory New the colour fields are at full depth and the transitions between blue and gold stay sharp across the slide and frame. This is the version for buyers who want the oxidised-steel look exactly as it was rendered.
Item type: pistol. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
It is painted in the case hardening technique.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The slide, barrel shroud and frame are coated in case-hardened steel: deep blue and violet patches mixed with bronze, copper and pale gold spots. The colours shift unevenly along the slide, around the ejection port and across the trigger guard, so no two areas look the same.
The tempered colours are intact on every part of the pistol. The muzzle, slide edges and rail show no bare metal. In game the blue and gold read clearly even at distance. Grip panels look uniform and clean.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Heat Treated is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Desert Eagle | Heat Treated belongs to Limited Edition Item, which holds 4 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
By price this skin is 4th of 6 skins Classified Desert Eagle in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold and holo stickers echo the bronze spots of the tempering, while blue or chrome designs blend into the steel. Placements along the slide work best because the grip panels are plain grey.
What to check before buying
- Check the pattern, because the amount of blue versus gold on the slide differs from copy to copy.
- Look at the float within the wear range, since the muzzle and slide edges lose colour first.
- View the playside of the slide, as that is the part you see most in game.
- Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether they suit the colours.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the tempered colours at full depth.
- Sticker crafters who need a clean base for gold or holo stickers.
- The choice for the most complete look of the skin.
