Skin overview
Desert Eagle | Heirloom is a dark gunmetal pistol with gold scrollwork inlaid at the front and rear of the slide. In Factory New the steel keeps an even, smooth tone and the gold ornament stays sharp and complete, so the engraved look reads cleanly from every angle.
Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Factory New
The slide and frame are finished in dark gunmetal grey with a subtle metallic sheen, and a line of engraved lettering runs along the side of the slide. Gold scroll inlays sit at the front corner of the slide near the muzzle, around the rear of the slide by the ejection port and hammer, with small gold touches on the frame near the trigger.
The gunmetal finish is uniform across the slide, frame and grip, with no visible marks. The gold scrollwork keeps its full detail at the muzzle and the rear of the slide. In game the pistol looks smooth and polished, and the engraved lettering stays crisp.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Heirloom ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 9% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Arms Deal 3 Collection with 12 skins in total.
The source is CS:GO Weapon Case 3 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).
Price by quality
Among 12 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 9th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, foil and dark-toned stickers echo the scroll inlays and the gunmetal finish. Placing them along the plain middle of the slide keeps the ornament at the muzzle and rear visible, while bright multicoloured stickers tend to clash with the restrained look.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float keeps the gold scrolls noticeably cleaner.
- Look at the gold inlays at the front of the slide and near the hammer, as they lose detail first.
- Inspect the slide edges and the muzzle face on the inspect screen for scuffs.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they fit the dark, engraved style.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the gold scrollwork in full detail.
- Players building a sticker craft around a clean, uniform metal surface.
- Conclusion: the choice for those who value the engraving above all.
