Skin overview

The design rests on dark metal and gold inlay rather than on colour, so it survives heavier wear better than busy artwork. A Well-Worn copy shows a clearly used slide, while the scroll ornament remains readable as a darker, aged pattern.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The slide and frame are finished in dark gunmetal grey with a subtle metallic sheen, and a line of engraved lettering runs along the side of the slide. Gold scroll inlays sit at the front corner of the slide near the muzzle, around the rear of the slide by the ejection port and hammer, with small gold touches on the frame near the trigger.

The slide edges and muzzle are clearly rubbed, and scratches reach the flat sides of the slide and frame. The gold inlays are patchy, with parts of the ornament faded near the muzzle and the hammer. At normal distance the weapon looks worn, though the dark base colour and the general outline of the scrollwork remain recognisable.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Heirloom ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Arms Deal 3 Collection with 12 skins in total.

It drops from CS:GO Weapon Case 3 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, foil and dark-toned stickers echo the scroll inlays and the gunmetal finish. Placing them along the plain middle of the slide keeps the ornament at the muzzle and rear visible, while bright multicoloured stickers tend to clash with the restrained look.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float keeps the gold scrolls noticeably cleaner.
  • Look at the gold inlays at the front of the slide and near the hammer, as they lose detail first.
  • Inspect the slide edges and the muzzle face on the inspect screen for scuffs.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they fit the dark, engraved style.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who still want the dark steel and gold theme.
  • Players who prefer an aged, worn-in look over a polished one.
  • Conclusion: a budget option that keeps the core style.
