Skin overview
Heirloom is recognised by its gunmetal body and the ornate gold scrolls near the muzzle, the ejection port and the hammer. In Field-Tested the patina finish starts to look handled, with light wear on edges that suits the idea of an old, engraved heirloom weapon.
Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The slide and frame are finished in dark gunmetal grey with a subtle metallic sheen, and a line of engraved lettering runs along the side of the slide. Gold scroll inlays sit at the front corner of the slide near the muzzle, around the rear of the slide by the ejection port and hammer, with small gold touches on the frame near the trigger.
Wear spreads along the slide edges, the top line and the muzzle face, with lighter scratches on the trigger guard. The gold scrolls start to lose sharpness at their outer edges, especially at the front of the slide. In game the gun reads as used but tidy, and the grip and the central part of the slide still look clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Heirloom is 0–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (29% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Arms Deal 3 Collection with 12 skins in total.
It drops from CS:GO Weapon Case 3 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).
What it costs in each quality
By price this skin is 5th of 11 skins Restricted Desert Eagle in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, foil and dark-toned stickers echo the scroll inlays and the gunmetal finish. Placing them along the plain middle of the slide keeps the ornament at the muzzle and rear visible, while bright multicoloured stickers tend to clash with the restrained look.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float keeps the gold scrolls noticeably cleaner.
- Look at the gold inlays at the front of the slide and near the hammer, as they lose detail first.
- Inspect the slide edges and the muzzle face on the inspect screen for scuffs.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they fit the dark, engraved style.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like the handled, old-weapon character of the patina.
- Buyers looking for an affordable entry to the skin while keeping the ornament readable.
- Conclusion: a practical everyday choice for play.
