Skin overview
Naga is built around contrast between pale engraved steel and brown wood, which suits a worn look better than most finishes. In Field-Tested the aged metal gains visible scuffs that fit the antique theme instead of spoiling it. The serpent engraving on the slide still reads clearly in hand.
Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The slide and barrel are finished in aged silver-grey metal, with an ornate engraving of a serpentine creature and scrollwork running along the top half of the slide. Below it, the factory lettering is engraved into the side of the slide, and a smaller decorative engraving sits near the rear sight.
Scuffs become clearly visible along the slide edges, the muzzle and the raised parts of the engraving. The flat sides of the slide start to show patches of dulled patina. The serpent motif and the wooden grips still read well from the first-person view. In game the pistol looks used but intact.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Naga ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir Desert Eagle | Naga belongs to The Chroma Collection, which holds 14 skins.
It drops from Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015).
Price by quality
By price this skin is 3rd of 11 skins Restricted Desert Eagle in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, brown and muted metallic stickers match the aged silver and wooden grips best. Placing them on the lower part of the slide or the frame keeps the serpent engraving visible.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the wear grade, since the slide edges and engraving show the difference first.
- Inspect the serpent engraving on the slide to see how much contrast it keeps on this copy.
- Check applied stickers, as they cover part of the slide or frame where the engraving sits.
- Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir and whether it has a name tag.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like the antique theme and do not mind visible scuffs.
- Buyers looking for a readable engraving at a moderate cost.
- A practical everyday choice.
