Skin overview

This Desert Eagle carries a mythological serpent cut into the silver slide, paired with warm wooden grips. In Minimal Wear the finish is practically indistinguishable from a fresh copy in normal play. It is the grade for buyers who want the engraving to look sharp without paying for the cleanest condition.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The slide and barrel are finished in aged silver-grey metal, with an ornate engraving of a serpentine creature and scrollwork running along the top half of the slide. Below it, the factory lettering is engraved into the side of the slide, and a smaller decorative engraving sits near the rear sight.

Light marks may appear on the slide edges and the front of the muzzle, visible mostly on inspection. The engraving on the slide stays sharp and fully readable. The grips and the medallion remain clean. At normal distance in game the skin looks the same as Factory New.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Naga ranges from 0 to 1; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 8% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir Desert Eagle | Naga belongs to The Chroma Collection, which holds 14 skins.

The source is Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, brown and muted metallic stickers match the aged silver and wooden grips best. Placing them on the lower part of the slide or the frame keeps the serpent engraving visible.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the float position within the wear grade, since the slide edges and engraving show the difference first.
  • Inspect the serpent engraving on the slide to see how much contrast it keeps on this copy.
  • Check applied stickers, as they cover part of the slide or frame where the engraving sits.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir and whether it has a name tag.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a clean-looking pistol in game without paying for the top grade.
  • Sticker crafts where the slide edges are not the focus.
  • A balanced pick between appearance and cost.
