Skin overview
In Well-Worn this Desert Eagle looks like a weapon that has been carried for years: the silver patina is dulled and marked, while the serpent relief still holds its shape. The wooden grips and medallion keep the overall design recognisable. It is a cheaper way to own the engraved look.
Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The slide and barrel are finished in aged silver-grey metal, with an ornate engraving of a serpentine creature and scrollwork running along the top half of the slide. Below it, the factory lettering is engraved into the side of the slide, and a smaller decorative engraving sits near the rear sight.
The slide carries heavy scuffing along its edges and across the engraved area, and the contrast of the serpent relief noticeably drops. Wear spreads over the frame and the trigger guard. The wooden grips and medallion are the cleanest part of the gun. In game the overall impression is a dull, darkened metal pistol with wooden grips.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Naga ranges from 0 to 1; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 7% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir Desert Eagle | Naga belongs to The Chroma Collection, which holds 14 skins.
It drops from Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015).
Price by quality
Among 5 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Gold, brown and muted metallic stickers match the aged silver and wooden grips best. Placing them on the lower part of the slide or the frame keeps the serpent engraving visible.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the wear grade, since the slide edges and engraving show the difference first.
- Inspect the serpent engraving on the slide to see how much contrast it keeps on this copy.
- Check applied stickers, as they cover part of the slide or frame where the engraving sits.
- Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir and whether it has a name tag.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Budget buyers who want the engraved Desert Eagle look.
- Players who prefer a dulled, used-looking pistol.
