Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred, Serpent Strike becomes a weathered snakeskin: large areas of the slide lose paint and metal shows through the orange and red. The warm overall colour still identifies the skin at a glance. Because the skin's float range ends early, this grade is less stripped than the heaviest copies of many other finishes.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slide is covered in orange and rust-red snakeskin scales with darker mottled patches, and a thin bright red zigzag line runs along its side toward the muzzle. The frame, the rail under the barrel and the hammer stay dark gunmetal grey, which frames the warm colours.

Large areas of the slide, especially toward the muzzle and along the top, lose paint and show grey metal between remaining scales. The zigzag line survives only in fragments, and the grip serpent is patchy. The central part of the slide still keeps enough orange and red to read as the same skin. In game it looks like a heavily used, weathered pistol rather than a fully stripped one.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, orange, gold and black stickers sit well on the warm scales without breaking the colour scheme. Placing them on the side of the slide away from the zigzag line keeps the snake motif readable. Cold blues and greens contrast sharply and suit only deliberately bold crafts.
