Skin overview
Orange scales, dark patches and a red zigzag give this Desert Eagle a rough, organic look that tolerates visible wear. In Well-Worn the slide shows clear bare metal along its edges and top, and the colours turn duller and browner. The snake on the grip is still recognisable, though broken up in places.
Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The slide is covered in orange and rust-red snakeskin scales with darker mottled patches, and a thin bright red zigzag line runs along its side toward the muzzle. The frame, the rail under the barrel and the hammer stay dark gunmetal grey, which frames the warm colours.
Bare metal runs in strips along the slide edges and spreads over the muzzle end and the top of the slide. The scales look faded and browner, and the zigzag line is broken in places. The grip serpent has worn patches at its outer coils but stays recognisable. In game the warm colour holds, though the slide looks visibly scuffed.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike is 0–0.57; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Fever Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Fever Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Red, orange, gold and black stickers sit well on the warm scales without breaking the colour scheme. Placing them on the side of the slide away from the zigzag line keeps the snake motif readable. Cold blues and greens contrast sharply and suit only deliberately bold crafts.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low value in Field-Tested or Well-Worn noticeably reduces metal on the slide edges.
- Inspect the muzzle end and the top of the slide, as these lose paint first on this finish.
- Look at the serpent on the grip panel to see how much of its outline is still intact.
- Check stickers and name tag, since they change how the slide reads and may not suit every buyer.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Budget-minded players who want the recognisable colours on their pistol.
- Fans of a used, weathered look that fits the organic pattern.
- Conclusion: a sensible saving if visible scuffs are acceptable.
