Show allAllSkin overview
Field-Tested Survivor Z fits the idea of a worn-down rifle that has been through a lot. The red stencil areas start to thin on exposed edges, and bare metal shows through next to the painted scratches. The red-and-white contrast still stands out against the dark body.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver and carry handle are covered in a dark grey, metallic base with irregular red stencil blocks and thin scratch lines across them. The rear of the stock carries the most visible detail, a set of white slash marks over red and grey patches.
Red paint thins on the carry handle edges, the bottom of the magazine and the front of the grip, with grey metal showing through. The stock corners start to lose colour around the white marks. In game the scheme still reads as red and white on dark grey. The flat sides of the receiver mostly keep their stencil blocks.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir FAMAS | Survivor Z ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 38% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Shadow Collection with 16 skins in total.
It drops from Shadow Case (on sale since Sep 15, 2015).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Red, white, black and grey stickers match the stencil scheme, especially with a worn or paper look. Placements on the receiver side work best, where the dark base leaves room between the red blocks.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear, because a low float in Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner than a high one.
- Look at the carry handle edges and the magazine base, which lose red paint first.
- Remember that the scratches are painted into the design, so do not mistake them for wear when comparing copies.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag, since they change how the stock and receiver read.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who like a used look that suits the survivor theme.
- Buyers looking for a balance between appearance and cost.
- Conclusion: a sensible middle option, best with a low float.
