Show allAllSkin overview
In Well-Worn condition the red paint loses a noticeable part of its coverage, and the rifle shifts towards grey metal. The stencil shapes are still readable, though real wear and painted distress merge into one rough surface. It is an inexpensive way to get the red-and-white scheme.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The receiver and carry handle are covered in a dark grey, metallic base with irregular red stencil blocks and thin scratch lines across them. The rear of the stock carries the most visible detail, a set of white slash marks over red and grey patches.
The red stencil is worn through across the carry handle and large parts of the magazine and grip. The white slash marks on the stock fade and lose their outline. In game the rifle looks more grey than red at a distance. The receiver sides still hold recognisable red patches.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of Souvenir FAMAS | Survivor Z is 0–0.6; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir FAMAS | Survivor Z belongs to The Shadow Collection, which holds 16 skins.
It drops from Shadow Case (on sale since Sep 15, 2015).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Red, white, black and grey stickers match the stencil scheme, especially with a worn or paper look. Placements on the receiver side work best, where the dark base leaves room between the red blocks.
What to check before buying
- Check the float position within the wear, because a low float in Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner than a high one.
- Look at the carry handle edges and the magazine base, which lose red paint first.
- Remember that the scratches are painted into the design, so do not mistake them for wear when comparing copies.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag, since they change how the stock and receiver read.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Budget players who want the red-and-white scheme on their FAMAS.
- Those who do not mind a greyer rifle at a distance.
- Conclusion: an inexpensive entry, with less red than the cleaner grades.
