Show allAllSkin overview
This wear keeps the look of the skin almost intact: bold red blocks, a grey base and the white claw-like marks on the stock. Any real wear is limited to small spots on edges and blends into the painted scratches. It costs less than Factory New and looks nearly the same in hand.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The receiver and carry handle are covered in a dark grey, metallic base with irregular red stencil blocks and thin scratch lines across them. The rear of the stock carries the most visible detail, a set of white slash marks over red and grey patches.
Tiny spots of wear may appear on the top edge of the carry handle and the base of the magazine. They are hard to separate from the painted scratches at normal viewing distance. The red keeps its saturation and the stock marks stay sharp. In game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir FAMAS | Survivor Z ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 13% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Shadow Collection with 16 skins in total.
The source is Shadow Case (on sale since Sep 15, 2015).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Red, white, black and grey stickers match the stencil scheme, especially with a worn or paper look. Placements on the receiver side work best, where the dark base leaves room between the red blocks.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear, because a low float in Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner than a high one.
- Look at the carry handle edges and the magazine base, which lose red paint first.
- Remember that the scratches are painted into the design, so do not mistake them for wear when comparing copies.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag, since they change how the stock and receiver read.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want the Factory New look while spending less.
- Buyers who will not notice small edge spots among the painted scratches.
- Conclusion: the practical choice for a clean-looking copy.
