Skin overview

Battle-Scarred turns High Seas into a heavily weathered rifle with wide worn patches across the brass and the textured dark areas. The engraved panel and teal accents fade, but the overall palette stays recognisable. This grade is the lowest-cost entry for those who want the design mainly for its colours and silhouette.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver carries a silver-grey panel with engraved wave-like scrollwork, framed by brass trim along the top and around the magazine well. The handguard and scope tube are covered in a dark woven texture, the muzzle device is teal, and the front sight ring, scope end caps and mount are brass.

Large worn areas cover the muzzle, scope, magazine and stock, and the receiver engraving is broken up by scratches. Brass becomes patchy across most exposed surfaces, giving a rough, weathered look. In game the rifle reads darker and more muted, with brass hints and teal accents still giving away the skin. Only sheltered parts such as the grip and the inner receiver areas keep cleaner paint.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.7

The float of Souvenir G3SG1 | High Seas ranges from 0 to 0.7; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.7 — 36% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir G3SG1 | High Seas belongs to The Horizon Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Horizon Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, brass-toned and teal stickers blend with the fittings and muzzle, while dark navy or black designs sit well against the woven handguard. Placements on the receiver below the scope or on the stock keep the engraved panel visible; bright neon colours tend to clash with the warm palette.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the grade, since lower floats keep the muzzle and scope caps cleaner.
  • Inspect the muzzle device, scope end caps and magazine edges, as these lose paint first.
  • Look at applied stickers and any name tag, because they change how the receiver and stock read.
  • Decide whether you want a regular, StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy, as they are listed separately.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget players who want the skin mainly for its palette and silhouette.
  • Fans of heavily weathered finishes.
  • The lowest-cost entry into High Seas.
