Skin overview

At Well-Worn the nautical finish looks aged: the brass is clearly broken up at the edges and darker metal shows on the most exposed parts. The silhouette with the brass front sight ring and scope still identifies the skin at a glance. It is an affordable way to carry the theme for players who like a used, sea-beaten look.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver carries a silver-grey panel with engraved wave-like scrollwork, framed by brass trim along the top and around the magazine well. The handguard and scope tube are covered in a dark woven texture, the muzzle device is teal, and the front sight ring, scope end caps and mount are brass.

Wear spreads along the top of the receiver, the magazine faces and the stock edges, exposing darker metal under the brass. The scope tube and handguard become patchy, and the teal muzzle is worn at its edges. At normal distance the colours look dulled, but the theme is still clear. The centre of the engraved panel and the grip keep much of their pattern.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir G3SG1 | High Seas ranges from 0 to 0.7; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 10% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir G3SG1 | High Seas belongs to The Horizon Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Horizon Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, brass-toned and teal stickers blend with the fittings and muzzle, while dark navy or black designs sit well against the woven handguard. Placements on the receiver below the scope or on the stock keep the engraved panel visible; bright neon colours tend to clash with the warm palette.

What to check before buying

  • Check the float position within the grade, since lower floats keep the muzzle and scope caps cleaner.
  • Inspect the muzzle device, scope end caps and magazine edges, as these lose paint first.
  • Look at applied stickers and any name tag, because they change how the receiver and stock read.
  • Decide whether you want a regular, StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy, as they are listed separately.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Players who prefer an aged, sea-beaten look.
  • Budget buyers who still want the colours to read clearly.
  • A cheap way to own the theme with character.
