G3SG1 | High Seas gives the rifle a nautical look: brass fittings, an engraved panel with wave-like scrollwork on the receiver and teal accents at the muzzle and lower receiver. In Factory New the brass keeps an even warm shine and the fine engraving reads crisply. This grade suits buyers who want the metalwork exactly as designed.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Factory New
The receiver carries a silver-grey panel with engraved wave-like scrollwork, framed by brass trim along the top and around the magazine well. The handguard and scope tube are covered in a dark woven texture, the muzzle device is teal, and the front sight ring, scope end caps and mount are brass.
The brass, teal and engraved panels are fully intact, with no chipping on any edge. The receiver scrollwork shows its fine detail up close. In game the rifle reads as clean and evenly polished at any distance. Every part from muzzle to stock looks as on the preview.
Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07
The whole float range of Souvenir G3SG1 | High Seas is 0–0.7; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir G3SG1 | High Seas belongs to The Horizon Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Horizon Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Gold, brass-toned and teal stickers blend with the fittings and muzzle, while dark navy or black designs sit well against the woven handguard. Placements on the receiver below the scope or on the stock keep the engraved panel visible; bright neon colours tend to clash with the warm palette.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the grade, since lower floats keep the muzzle and scope caps cleaner.
- Inspect the muzzle device, scope end caps and magazine edges, as these lose paint first.
- Look at applied stickers and any name tag, because they change how the receiver and stock read.
- Decide whether you want a regular, StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy, as they are listed separately.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the brass and engraving without a single mark.
- Sticker crafters who need a clean base for gold and teal designs.
- The choice for those who value the finish exactly as designed.
