G3SG1 | Stinger is a Gunsmith finish that pairs dark grey and black panels with sharp yellow accents on the muzzle, sights, scope caps, magazine and grip. In Factory New the yellow is at its brightest and the dark surfaces keep a uniform, clean tone. This is the grade for buyers who want the contrast exactly as designed.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Factory New
The receiver and handguard are covered in dark grey and black with lighter grey angular panels, cut through by thin yellow stripes along the edges. The barrel stays plain grey metal, while the muzzle, front sight ring and both ends of the glossy black scope are capped with bright yellow rings.
All yellow accents are intact and saturated, including the scope rings and the magazine base. The dark panels have an even tone without scratches. In game the rifle looks crisp and the yellow stands out clearly against the grey.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The float of Souvenir G3SG1 | Stinger ranges from 0 to 0.7; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 10% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir G3SG1 | Stinger belongs to The Glove Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is Glove Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Yellow, black and grey stickers or holo and gold variants support the wasp-like scheme without breaking it. The dark receiver area is the most effective spot, where yellow accents frame the sticker. Strong reds or blues tend to compete with the yellow highlights.
What to check before buying
- Check the float position within the wear grade, since the yellow edges on the magazine and grip show the difference first.
- Look at the scope rings and muzzle in the inspect view, as they chip early and are visible from first person.
- Decide whether you want the StatTrak™ version, which adds a kill counter to the rifle.
- Review applied stickers and any name tag to make sure they fit the yellow and grey scheme.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the yellow contrast at its cleanest.
- Sticker crafters who need an untouched base.
- The choice for those who value the finish exactly as designed.
