Souvenir M249 | Humidor (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Humidor is recognisable by its all-over brown and plum floral ornament, which spreads from the receiver to the stock and the ammo box. In Field-Tested the pattern is still clearly visible, but paint starts to thin on edges and protruding parts, giving the gun a used, handled look. The busy ornament hides much of this wear at normal distance.

Item type: machinegun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver, handguard and the large ammo box are covered in a copper-brown base with a tan vine and flower ornament outlined in dark plum. The pattern continues onto the stock and grip, so almost the entire weapon carries the same dense floral motif.

Wear becomes visible on the muzzle, the top edges of the receiver, the sight parts and the corners of the ammo box, where the paint thins and dark metal shows through. Small scratches start to cut into the tan outlines on raised areas. The flat sides of the receiver, the ammo box and most of the stock still carry a clear pattern. In game the gun reads as patterned and brown, with wear noticeable mainly up close.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in gold, copper, brown or deep purple blend well with the floral ornament. Holo or gold stickers stand out best on the flat sides of the receiver and the ammo box. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the muted palette.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, as copies near the cleaner end of a grade look noticeably better.
• Inspect the muzzle, receiver edges and ammo box corners, since these parts lose paint first.
• Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether they suit the brown ornament.
• The pattern is a repeating ornament, so placement matters less than wear condition.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the pattern clearly visible without paying for a cleaner grade.
• Fans of a used, handled look on a heavy weapon.
• A balanced option for everyday play.
