Skin overview

The Humidor finish turns the M249 into a warm, brown-toned weapon with a vine pattern that reads almost like carved wood or tooled leather. Minimal Wear keeps that look nearly untouched, with only tiny marks that are hard to spot without zooming in. It gives practically the same impression as the cleanest grade.

Item type: machinegun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver, handguard and the large ammo box are covered in a copper-brown base with a tan vine and flower ornament outlined in dark plum. The pattern continues onto the stock and grip, so almost the entire weapon carries the same dense floral motif.

Light scuffs may appear on the muzzle tip and the sharpest edges of the receiver. The ornament on the sides, the ammo box and the stock remains fully intact. At normal distance in game the difference from Factory New is practically invisible. Choosing this grade saves money without a visible loss in looks.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir M249 | Humidor is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in gold, copper, brown or deep purple blend well with the floral ornament. Holo or gold stickers stand out best on the flat sides of the receiver and the ammo box. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the muted palette.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, as copies near the cleaner end of a grade look noticeably better.
• Inspect the muzzle, receiver edges and ammo box corners, since these parts lose paint first.
• Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether they suit the brown ornament.
• The pattern is a repeating ornament, so placement matters less than wear condition.
