Show allAllSkin overview
This finish is built around the idea of an aircraft-style gun that has seen long service, with blue-grey paint, a yellow heat shield and dirt worked into every surface. In Field-Tested real scuffs start to join the painted ones on edges and corners, which suits the theme rather than spoiling it. The overall colour scheme is still clearly readable.
Item type: machinegun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver is painted in a faded blue-grey tone with rust spots, stains and grime, and a yellow heat shield strip sits on top of the body above the feed area. The box magazine under the receiver repeats the washed-out blue colour and carries a small white marking on its side.
Real scratches show on the magazine box corners and along the receiver edges, and the heat shield starts to lose paint at its rims. The stock butt can pick up light scuffs. At normal distance the wear merges with the painted grime, and the blue-grey and yellow scheme is intact. The flat central areas of the body still look clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir M249 | Warbird ranges from 0.05 to 0.65; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 38% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Shattered Web Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Shattered Web Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Muted stickers in yellow, orange, olive or faded blue fit the aged military palette and echo the heat shield. Weathered or scraped stickers look natural on this finish, while bright glossy ones tend to stand out against the grime. The flat sides of the receiver and the magazine box are the most visible spots.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the wear range, since a low float keeps the yellow heat shield and the box corners intact for longer.
- Inspect the magazine box and the heat shield first, because real wear shows there before anywhere else.
- Remember that the rust and grime are part of the artwork, so judge actual paint loss by bare metal, not by stains.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change both the look and how easy the copy is to resell.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want the theme intact and do not mind light real scuffs that blend into the grime.
- Budget-minded buyers looking for a balanced copy for everyday use.
- In short, the middle ground where wear suits the artwork rather than spoiling it.
