Show allAllSkin overview
In Well-Worn the rifle looks like an old engraved weapon, with scuffed edges and uneven, darker metal across the body. The basilisk is still there on the receiver, though its lines have less contrast than on cleaner copies.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The whole rifle is finished in dark gunmetal with a slight olive tint. The receiver carries an engraved basilisk drawn in fine light-grey lines, and the ribbed handguard has a matching scale-like etching.
Scuffs cover most edges, the carry handle and the silencer, and the metal turns darker and uneven. The etched lines on the receiver and handguard are noticeably fainter. In game the rifle looks clearly aged, with the basilisk visible mostly on inspection.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of Souvenir M4A1-S | Basilisk is 0–0.68; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Vanguard Collection with 14 skins in total.
It drops from Operation Vanguard Weapon Case (on sale since Nov 5, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Dark, metallic and holographic stickers in silver, gold or olive tones match the gunmetal finish. Placing them on the receiver near the engraving or along the handguard keeps the basilisk as the focus, while a single bright accent stands out well against the dark base.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner edge of a grade keep more contrast in the engraving.
- Inspect the receiver to see how clearly the basilisk engraving reads on this copy.
- Look at the carry handle, receiver edges and silencer tip, as these parts lose tone first.
- Check for applied stickers or a name tag and decide whether they suit you.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Fans of a rough, used look on a dark rifle.
- Budget buyers who still want the engraving visible on inspection.
- A good fit if character matters more than clean metal.
