Show allAllSkin overview
Flashback relies on a muddy olive base and loose white handwriting, so the rifle already looks field-used by design. In Field-Tested the scuffs on edges blend into that style, and the main inscriptions and peace symbol remain readable. Many players find this grade matches the theme of the artwork best.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The whole rifle is painted a dull olive drab with darker brownish shading that gives it a dirty, hand-finished feel. The long silencer carries a large handwritten word in pale paint, and the receiver side shows a line of scribbled lettering near the ejection area.
Wear spreads along the silencer, the muzzle end, the carry handle and the magazine edges, with some scuffs on handguard ribs. The large silencer word may show slight breaks, while the receiver lettering and peace sign stay readable. In game the scuffs merge with the grimy paint and are not distracting. Flat areas of the receiver and stock remain mostly clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir M4A1-S | Flashback is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Muted stickers in olive, khaki, brown or off-white match the field paint and handwritten style best. Placing them on the receiver side away from the existing lettering keeps the graffiti readable, while bright neon stickers tend to clash with the dull palette.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, as the silencer lettering degrades first and it is the most visible part in first person.
- Look at the peace symbol and the magazine markings on the inspect screen to make sure they are still readable on worn copies.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, since they change the look of an already busy design.
- Look at the carry handle, front sight and magazine edges, where the paint breaks up first.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who feel the light scuffs suit the dirty, used theme of the design.
- Buyers looking for a balance between appearance and cost.
- Conclusion: the grade where wear and artwork fit together most naturally.
