Souvenir M4A1-S | Night Terror (Factory New)

Skin overview

M4A1-S | Night Terror covers the silenced rifle in dark maroon paint with brighter red stains and loose scrawled writing, as if restless thoughts had been jotted straight onto the metal. In Factory New the deep red keeps full contrast against the near-black base, and the pale lines on the magazine look crisp and deliberate.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The finish puts a dark maroon base over the whole rifle, sinking toward near-black in the shadows, with brighter red patches across the receiver, stock and magazine. Scrawled writing and loose marks run over the surface and are most visible on the magazine, where pale tan lines stand out against the deep red.

The paint is intact on every part, including the silencer tip and the edges of the magazine. The red patches keep their full brightness and the pale scrawls on the magazine have sharp lines. At normal distance the rifle reads as a dark red weapon with a lighter mark on the magazine, and on inspect every detail of the writing is clean.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Dark red, black and muted gold stickers blend with the stained finish, and cream or pale tan designs echo the scrawls on the magazine. Placements along the side of the receiver work best, while bright neon or light blue stickers tend to break the dark mood.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies close to the cleaner border keep the silencer tip and magazine corners noticeably better.
• Look at the magazine on inspect, because the pale scrawls there are the most recognisable detail and lose sharpness first.
• Check the silencer and the top of the receiver, as these are the first places where chipping shows in first person.
• Look at any applied stickers and name tag, since they can either suit or clash with the dark red artwork.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the scrawls and red contrast in their sharpest form.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean surface to match coloured stickers to the artwork.
• The choice for buyers who want the design exactly as intended.
