Skin overview

This M4A4 finish relies on contrast between red paint and dark parts, which helps it hold up even when worn. Well-Worn copies show clear scuffs and grey showing through the red on the receiver, magazine and stock edges. The rifle still reads as red and black from a distance, now with a rougher, used look.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The finish is a custom paint job in bright red and dark grey to near-black, arranged in bold angular blocks. The handguard and the front of the barrel area are mostly red, while the receiver mixes red with grey panels and faint dark markings.

The magazine and the top of the receiver show larger patches of bare grey, and the handguard red is broken along its edges. The stock has clear scrapes on its corners and outer surface. From a distance the colour scheme holds, but up close the finish looks rough and faded in places.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir M4A4 | Evil Daimyo is 0–0.52; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (13% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Falchion Collection with 16 skins in total.

It drops from Falchion Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black, white and gold stickers fit the existing palette best. Placements on the grey parts of the receiver or the stock stand out more than stickers over the red handguard, where similar colours blend in.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show less grey on the magazine.
  • Look at the magazine edges and the top of the receiver first, as these parts lose paint earliest.
  • Review applied stickers and any name tag, because they change how the red and black design reads.
  • Battle-Scarred copies are limited by the short float range, so compare them with Well-Worn before deciding.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget buyers who want the design with a used character.
  • Players who mostly see the rifle at a distance and care about the colour scheme.
  • In short: an affordable way to keep the red and black look.
