Show allAllSkin overview
MP5-SD | Gold Leaf is a Mil-Spec Grade SMG skin with a hydrographic camo of sage green, olive, brown and gold patches. In Factory New the blotches keep sharp borders and the gold tones show their full warmth against the green. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the camo exactly as designed.
Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The receiver, magazine, pistol grip and stock end are covered with irregular camo patches in sage green, olive, rusty brown and gold. The front section of the suppressor carries the same brown and gold camo, while the long ribbed suppressor sleeve stays in a plain grey-green tone.
The camo is complete on every part, with no scratches on the muzzle, magazine or receiver. Patch borders are crisp and the gold areas keep their warm tone. In game the weapon looks clean and evenly coloured from any angle.
Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07
The whole float range of Souvenir MP5-SD | Gold Leaf is 0–0.6; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir MP5-SD | Gold Leaf belongs to The Boreal Collection, which holds 29 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 6 skins of the MP5-SD in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in gold, olive, brown or muted green blend well with the camo on the receiver. Matte or holographic gold accents echo the gold patches, while bright saturated colours tend to clash with the earthy scheme.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since edges of the magazine and the muzzle show the difference first.
- Look at the magazine and the suppressor front on the inspect screen, as these parts lose the camo earliest.
- The hydrographic camo shifts from copy to copy, so compare the placement of gold patches on the receiver if that matters to you.
- Check applied stickers and a name tag, as they change how the clean receiver area looks.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the camo with crisp borders and full gold tones.
- Sticker crafters who need a clean base on the receiver.
- The choice for a flawless Gold Leaf.
