Souvenir MP9 | Broken Record (Factory New)

Skin overview

MP9 | Broken Record turns the SMG into a vinyl record: a near-black body covered in fine grooves, with a gold disc on the receiver like a record label. In Factory New the grooves are sharp and even, and the gold label, pinstripes and muzzle ring keep their full shine. This is the grade for buyers who want the record look without a single scuff.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver and barrel shroud are dark charcoal, almost black, and covered with fine parallel lines that imitate the grooves of a vinyl record. On the side of the receiver sits a round gold label with a dark letter and small lettering around it, framed by thin gold pinstripes and gold text on the top rail.

The finish is complete: the grooves are crisp across the receiver, magazine and grips. The gold label, pinstripes and muzzle ring are bright, with no rubbed spots. In game the gun looks dark and clean, with gold catching the light at the muzzle and on the side.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, holo-gold or black-and-gold stickers continue the record theme and match the label and trim. Placing them along the dark receiver behind the label keeps the gold disc in view, while music-themed or monochrome designs fit the vinyl idea.

What to check before buying

• Inspect the gold label on the receiver, since it carries the theme and loses gold along its edge first.
• Check the muzzle ring and the foregrip rim, because rubbed gold there is the earliest sign of wear.
• Look at where the float sits within its wear range, as copies near the cleaner end keep noticeably more gold.
• Check the stickers and name tag on the copy, since they change the look of the dark receiver.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want every groove and every gold line intact.
• Sticker crafters looking for a clean dark base for gold stickers.
• Conclusion: the full record look with nothing to compromise.
