Show allAllSkin overview
This MP9 wears a dusty desert palette: tan base, yellowish stripes and a dense pattern of dark perforation dots. In Minimal Wear the finish looks practically untouched from a normal viewing distance, with only faint marks on the sharpest edges. It keeps the clean look of the top grade while usually being an easier copy to find.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The whole MP9 is covered in a sandy tan base with diagonal olive-yellow bands whose ragged borders come from torn tape strips. Over the receiver, the magazine and both grips runs a dense grid of small dark dots sprayed through perforated metal, giving the surface a mesh-like texture.
Minimal Wear adds tiny scuffs on the muzzle tip, the edges of the top rail and the corners of the receiver. The dot grid and the yellow bands on the body and magazine remain intact. In game these marks are almost invisible, and the weapon reads the same as a Factory New copy. The grips and stock area still look clean.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir MP9 | Dry Season ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir MP9 | Dry Season belongs to The Alpha Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in tan, brown, olive or muted gold blend with the desert palette, while a single black or dark green sticker echoes the dot pattern. Placing them on the receiver side keeps the tape bands on the magazine and grips visible.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within its grade, because chipping on the muzzle and grip ribs grows noticeably toward the worse end.
- Look at the top rail, receiver edges and magazine base, as these are the first places the paint leaves.
- For Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and how they fit the sandy palette.
- Note any name tag, since it changes how the item is displayed.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a clean-looking MP9 without hunting for the top grade.
- Sticker crafters who need a near-untouched base.
- A practical middle ground with almost the same look as Factory New.
