Show allAllSkin overview
The taupe and blue-green plaid of this finish is low in contrast, so heavy wear changes its look more through grey patches than through lost colour. In Well-Worn the edges, rail and front of the receiver are noticeably stripped, while the larger plaid bands on the sides remain recognisable. It suits players who want the pattern in a rough, field-used state.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The receiver, barrel shroud and both grips are covered in a taupe base with a plaid of wide blue-green diagonal bands crossed by thin dark lines. The pattern runs at an angle across the body, so the diamond shapes shift from the top rail down to the trigger guard.
The muzzle, rail and front of the receiver are clearly stripped to grey, and the grips show large worn areas along the ribs. Wear spreads onto the trigger guard edges and the magazine. In game the gun looks noticeably weathered, though the plaid still shows on the larger flat surfaces. The side panels of the receiver keep most of the pattern.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The float of Souvenir MP9 | Green Plaid ranges from 0 to 0.58; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 12% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Baggage Collection with 15 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Muted greens, teals, tan and dark brown stickers blend with the plaid and keep the subdued look. Placements on the side of the receiver above the grip sit on the patterned area and read well; a single cream or dark green sticker works better than bright multicoloured ones.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a grade shows noticeably less grey on the muzzle and rail.
- Look at the top rail, muzzle and grip ribs on the inspect view, as these parts lose paint first.
- Souvenir copies exist and come with stickers already applied, so check whether they suit the plaid before buying.
- Check stickers and name tag on any copy, since they change the look more than the pattern offset does.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Players who prefer a weathered, field-used look.
- Budget buyers who still want the plaid visible on the sides.
- Conclusion: a rough look at a lower cost.
