Skin overview

Starlight Protector turns the MP9 into a light, ornamented weapon with gold star motifs and a vivid unicorn near the rear of the receiver. Field-Tested copies show scuffing along the gold trim and some dulling of the pale base, while the unicorn still reads clearly as a rainbow shape. It is a practical middle ground between price and appearance.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver carries a pale cream base with a fine horizontal grain, scattered gold four-pointed stars and thin gold lines along its edges. The rear of the receiver is taken by the rainbow unicorn head in pink, orange, yellow, green and blue, the brightest element of the whole weapon.

The gold trim is broken in places, and the top edge of the receiver and the magazine base show clear scratches. The cream base takes on a dull, slightly grey tone, and the edges of the unicorn's mane start to scuff. In game the overall design and rainbow accent still read well. The gold stars on the grips and stock are mostly intact on lower floats.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, holo and rainbow-toned stickers match the star motifs and the unicorn's mane. Placing them along the light receiver ahead of the unicorn keeps the artwork visible, while white or cream stickers blend with the base for a quieter craft.
