Show allAllSkin overview
On a Well-Worn MP9 | Starlight Protector the decorative gold work is visibly thinned, and the cream base picks up a grey, used tone. The unicorn keeps its colour mix but loses crispness at the edges of the mane. It suits players who want the recognisable rainbow accent without paying for a clean finish.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The receiver carries a pale cream base with a fine horizontal grain, scattered gold four-pointed stars and thin gold lines along its edges. The rear of the receiver is taken by the rainbow unicorn head in pink, orange, yellow, green and blue, the brightest element of the whole weapon.
Wear spreads from the edges onto flat surfaces: much of the gold trim is gone and several stars are partly erased. The pale base looks visibly dirty, and the unicorn shows scratches across the mane and head. In game the weapon reads as a worn version of the design, with colour still noticeable but less vivid. The darker grips hide damage better than the light receiver and stock.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The float of Souvenir MP9 | Starlight Protector ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir MP9 | Starlight Protector belongs to The Dreams & Nightmares Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Dreams & Nightmares Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, holo and rainbow-toned stickers match the star motifs and the unicorn's mane. Placing them along the light receiver ahead of the unicorn keeps the artwork visible, while white or cream stickers blend with the base for a quieter craft.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the gold trim and light base show the difference clearly.
- Look at the unicorn on the receiver, as it is the focal point and its condition defines how the skin reads.
- Inspect the gold edges of the receiver and the magazine bottom, which wear first.
- Review applied stickers and any name tag, since bright stickers can clash with the rainbow artwork.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Budget buyers who want this Covert finish mainly for its colour accent.
- Players who like a weathered look on a decorative skin.
- A cheaper entry that still shows the design.
