Souvenir Negev | dev_texture (Factory New)

Skin overview

Negev | dev_texture dresses the machine gun in a bright orange base with grey developer-style grid panels, a look borrowed from placeholder textures used in map editors. In Factory New the orange stays saturated and the thin grid lines on the grey panels are crisp. This is the version for buyers who want the reference look of the finish.

Item type: machinegun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver is painted orange with large grey panels on the top cover and side, covered in a fine grid like editor placeholder textures, plus small light technical markings on the orange areas. The barrel and muzzle are dark grey, with an orange stripe running along the handguard, and the front sight is picked out in orange.

The paint is intact on every part, from muzzle to stock. The orange keeps full saturation and the grid lines on the grey panels are sharp. Small markings on the receiver are fully legible up close. In game it reads as a clean, bright orange machine gun.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The float of Souvenir Negev | dev_texture ranges from 0 to 0.65; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 11% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir Negev | dev_texture belongs to The Snakebite Collection, which holds 17 skins.

The source is Snakebite Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, grey and white stickers blend with the developer grid, while orange or yellow ones continue the base colour. Placements on the grey side panels of the receiver stand out most clearly against the grid.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within its wear range, since a low float in Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner than a high one.
• Inspect the muzzle, sights and corners of the ammo box, as these lose orange first.
• Look at the stickers and name tag, as they change how the orange receiver reads.
• Decide whether you need StatTrak™ or Souvenir, since both versions exist for this skin.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the orange and grey grid in its sharpest form.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean base for placements on the grey panels.
• Conclusion: the reference copy for those who value a flawless look.
