Souvenir Negev | dev_texture (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

The skin is easy to spot by its contrast of warm orange and cool grey grid blocks with small technical markings along the receiver. Minimal Wear keeps that contrast almost intact, and the few light marks sit on edges that are rarely noticed in a match. It gives nearly the same picture as Factory New for a lower grade.

Item type: machinegun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver is painted orange with large grey panels on the top cover and side, covered in a fine grid like editor placeholder textures, plus small light technical markings on the orange areas. The barrel and muzzle are dark grey, with an orange stripe running along the handguard, and the front sight is picked out in orange.

Light marks may appear on the muzzle tip and the edge of the front sight. The receiver, grey panels and ammo box remain clean. At normal distance it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. Only close inspection reveals the small scuffs.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Negev | dev_texture is 0–0.65; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Snakebite Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Snakebite Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, grey and white stickers blend with the developer grid, while orange or yellow ones continue the base colour. Placements on the grey side panels of the receiver stand out most clearly against the grid.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within its wear range, since a low float in Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner than a high one.
• Inspect the muzzle, sights and corners of the ammo box, as these lose orange first.
• Look at the stickers and name tag, as they change how the orange receiver reads.
• Decide whether you need StatTrak™ or Souvenir, since both versions exist for this skin.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

• Players who want an almost clean look without paying for the top grade.
• Crafters for whom tiny edge marks do not matter.
• Conclusion: nearly the same picture as Factory New at a more sensible grade.
