Skin overview

Nova | Ranger is a green brush-stroke camouflage with tan contour decals, and in Battle-Scarred it turns into a heavily weathered field piece. Large areas of paint and most of the fine lines are gone from the barrel, pump and stock edges, leaving patchy green over metal. It is the cheapest way to get the Ranger, and the rough look fits a rugged loadout.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, pump and stock are painted in a brush-stroke hydrographic of deep green, olive and lighter sage tones, with strokes running along the length of the gun. Heat-transfer decals of thin tan contour lines curve across the pump and the stock, resembling the lines of a topographic map.

Paint is largely stripped from the barrel and the pump, and the stock edges show heavy chipping. Most of the tan contour decals are gone, leaving only fragments. In game the weapon looks rough and patchy, with green strokes surviving in islands. Remnants of the pattern stay mainly on the middle of the stock and receiver.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in olive, khaki, brown or muted gold blend with the camouflage and tan line decals. Holo or bright green accents placed on the receiver side work as a single contrast point without breaking the field look.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the barrel and pump edges show the difference first.
• Inspect the contour line decals on the pump and stock, as broken lines are the clearest sign of wear on this skin.
