Skin overview

Nova | Ranger is a Mil-Spec Grade shotgun finish in muted forest greens and olive, laid down as loose brush strokes and crossed by thin tan contour lines. In Factory New the strokes keep crisp borders and the fine line decals on the pump and stock read sharp from end to end. This is the version for buyers who want the camouflage pattern exactly as it was painted.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver, pump and stock are painted in a brush-stroke hydrographic of deep green, olive and lighter sage tones, with strokes running along the length of the gun. Heat-transfer decals of thin tan contour lines curve across the pump and the stock, resembling the lines of a topographic map.

The brush strokes have clean borders and the tan contour lines are unbroken on both the pump and the stock. The dark barrel shows an even finish up to the muzzle. In game the camouflage looks smooth and the pale lines stand out against the green. Nothing on the weapon shows wear.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir Nova | Ranger is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in olive, khaki, brown or muted gold blend with the camouflage and tan line decals. Holo or bright green accents placed on the receiver side work as a single contrast point without breaking the field look.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the barrel and pump edges show the difference first.
• Inspect the contour line decals on the pump and stock, as broken lines are the clearest sign of wear on this skin.
• Look at the muzzle and top of the barrel in the inspect view, because these are the first spots to lose paint.
