Skin overview

This finish covers the Nova in green camouflage strokes and thin contour decals, a quiet military design without bright accents. In Well-Worn the contour lines are broken in many places and bare metal shows along the barrel and receiver edges, so the shotgun looks like it has seen long field use. The green base still carries the camouflage idea at normal viewing distance.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver, pump and stock are painted in a brush-stroke hydrographic of deep green, olive and lighter sage tones, with strokes running along the length of the gun. Heat-transfer decals of thin tan contour lines curve across the pump and the stock, resembling the lines of a topographic map.

The barrel shows bare metal over large stretches, and the edges of the pump and receiver are clearly worn through. Many of the contour lines are broken or faded on the pump and stock. In game the weapon reads as a used field shotgun, with the green camouflage still recognisable. Only the central areas of the stock and receiver sides keep a fairly clean finish.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir Nova | Ranger is 0–1; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Nova | Ranger belongs to The Falchion Collection, which holds 16 skins.

The source is Falchion Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in olive, khaki, brown or muted gold blend with the camouflage and tan line decals. Holo or bright green accents placed on the receiver side work as a single contrast point without breaking the field look.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the barrel and pump edges show the difference first.
  • Inspect the contour line decals on the pump and stock, as broken lines are the clearest sign of wear on this skin.
  • Look at the muzzle and top of the barrel in the inspect view, because these are the first spots to lose paint.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag, which change how the copy looks and may not suit every buyer.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who still want the green camouflage recognisable.
  • Players who prefer a used, weathered look on their shotgun.
  • A cheap way to own the skin with character.
