Show allAllSkin overview
Toy Soldier in Battle-Scarred is the green toy Nova after a long time in the sandbox. Large areas of paint are gone along the barrel, pump and stock, leaving dark metal mixed with the remaining green. It is the cheapest way to get the design and has a rough, well-used character of its own.
Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The entire Nova is covered in a saturated toy-soldier green, from the barrel and magazine tube to the receiver and stock, with lighter highlights that give it a glossy moulded-plastic feel. The ribbed pump grip and fine lines on the stock imitate the texture of a cheap plastic casting.
Large areas of green are gone from the barrel, pump, receiver and stock, exposing dark metal underneath. The pump ribs and muzzle are almost bare. In game the shotgun looks dark with green islands. The star and label plate can be heavily damaged.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The float of Souvenir Nova | Toy Soldier ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Horizon Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Horizon Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Military and toy-themed stickers in olive, khaki or the same bright green keep the plastic-army look together. Small accents in cream or black on the receiver echo the label plate without overpowering the single colour.
What to check before buying
- Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, since the chipping on this plain green finish grows steadily and is easy to spot.
- Check the muzzle, pump ribs and stock edges on the inspect screen, as these parts lose paint first.
- Make sure the star on the stock is still clear if the emblem matters to you.
- Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries stickers or a name tag you actually want.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget entry for anyone who just wants the skin in the inventory.
- Fans of a rough, heavily used look on a toy theme.
- The cheapest option with a character of its own.
