Show allAllSkin overview
Toy Soldier turns the Nova into a moulded green plastic shotgun with a star emblem on the stock. In Field-Tested the paint starts to chip on the muzzle, the pump ribs and the stock edges, and darker spots show through the green. It reads like a toy that has seen some play, which suits the theme well.
Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The entire Nova is covered in a saturated toy-soldier green, from the barrel and magazine tube to the receiver and stock, with lighter highlights that give it a glossy moulded-plastic feel. The ribbed pump grip and fine lines on the stock imitate the texture of a cheap plastic casting.
Chips show clearly on the muzzle, the pump ribs, the receiver edges and the bottom of the stock. Dark spots break up the green along these edges. In first-person view the scuffs near the pump are noticeable but the green still dominates. The central areas of the receiver and the star are mostly clean.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir Nova | Toy Soldier ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Horizon Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Horizon Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Military and toy-themed stickers in olive, khaki or the same bright green keep the plastic-army look together. Small accents in cream or black on the receiver echo the label plate without overpowering the single colour.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, since the chipping on this plain green finish grows steadily and is easy to spot.
- Check the muzzle, pump ribs and stock edges on the inspect screen, as these parts lose paint first.
- Make sure the star on the stock is still clear if the emblem matters to you.
- Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries stickers or a name tag you actually want.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like the idea of a toy that has been played with.
- Those who want the design affordably and do not mind visible chips.
- A practical everyday pick with a fitting worn character.
