Skin overview

The skin is still clearly the green toy-soldier Nova, recognisable by its single colour and the star on the stock. In Well-Worn the chipping spreads from the edges onto the barrel and receiver, and the green looks patchy up close. From a normal distance the colour still dominates, so the theme survives.

Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The entire Nova is covered in a saturated toy-soldier green, from the barrel and magazine tube to the receiver and stock, with lighter highlights that give it a glossy moulded-plastic feel. The ribbed pump grip and fine lines on the stock imitate the texture of a cheap plastic casting.

Wear spreads from the edges onto the barrel, the magazine tube and the flat sides of the receiver. The pump grip loses much of its paint, and the stock edges are heavily chipped. In game the gun reads as patchy green with darker areas. The star is usually still visible but may be partly scuffed.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir Nova | Toy Soldier ranges from 0 to 1; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 7% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir Nova | Toy Soldier belongs to The Horizon Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Horizon Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Military and toy-themed stickers in olive, khaki or the same bright green keep the plastic-army look together. Small accents in cream or black on the receiver echo the label plate without overpowering the single colour.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, since the chipping on this plain green finish grows steadily and is easy to spot.
  • Check the muzzle, pump ribs and stock edges on the inspect screen, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Make sure the star on the stock is still clear if the emblem matters to you.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries stickers or a name tag you actually want.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget buyers who still want the green clearly visible.
  • Players who use the Nova occasionally and care about the colour more than detail.
  • An inexpensive way to keep the theme recognisable.
