Skin overview

P2000 | Handgun is built around a visual gag: a cream-coloured hand drawn over the grip and frame, a painted cartridge and the word BOOM ! on the slide. In Field-Tested the patina paint starts to rub off at edges, which gives the cartoon a used, handled feel without hiding the motif. The hand and lettering remain easy to recognise in the player's view.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The front of the slide is bright cyan with white highlights, and the white comic lettering BOOM ! sits above a painted brass cartridge, while the rear of the slide turns dark navy. A cream hand with dark outlines is drawn across the frame and grip, its fingers curling around the handle as if holding the pistol.

Wear spreads along the top edges of the slide and starts to touch the BOOM ! letters and the cartridge. The bottom of the grip and the magazine baseplate show patches of grey metal. In game the slide looks scuffed, but the hand and the lettering are still readable. The middle of the frame and most of the drawn fingers remain clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir P2000 | Handgun is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Cyan, white or navy stickers placed on the slide continue the colour scheme without covering the BOOM ! lettering. Comic-style or cartoon stickers fit the drawn hand and the gag of the finish.
