Skin overview

The skin pairs a bright cyan and dark navy slide with a hand-drawn cartoon hand that covers the lower half of the P2000. At Minimal Wear the comic style stays intact, and any marks are small enough to stay hidden among the dark outlines of the drawing. It keeps nearly the full look of the cleanest grade at a step down.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The front of the slide is bright cyan with white highlights, and the white comic lettering BOOM ! sits above a painted brass cartridge, while the rear of the slide turns dark navy. A cream hand with dark outlines is drawn across the frame and grip, its fingers curling around the handle as if holding the pistol.

Small scuffs may appear at the muzzle end and on the front edges of the slide. The lettering, cartridge and hand drawing stay clean. At normal distance in game it is hard to tell apart from Factory New. Most marks fall on dark areas where they are barely visible.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir P2000 | Handgun is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

The skin’s collection is The Falchion Collection with 16 skins in total.

It drops from Falchion Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Cyan, white or navy stickers placed on the slide continue the colour scheme without covering the BOOM ! lettering. Comic-style or cartoon stickers fit the drawn hand and the gag of the finish.

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since the slide edges and lettering show wear first.
• Look at the BOOM ! lettering and the cartridge on the slide, as these define the look of the skin.
• Inspect the bottom of the grip and the magazine baseplate for patches of bare metal.
