Souvenir P2000 | Handgun (Well-Worn)

Skin overview

This P2000 finish mixes cyan, navy, cream and grey metal into a comic-book drawing of a hand holding the gun. Well-Worn copies show clear paint loss, so the cyan and the drawn fingers sit on patches of bare grey metal. The result looks more battered and less like a clean illustration.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The front of the slide is bright cyan with white highlights, and the white comic lettering BOOM ! sits above a painted brass cartridge, while the rear of the slide turns dark navy. A cream hand with dark outlines is drawn across the frame and grip, its fingers curling around the handle as if holding the pistol.

Large areas of the cyan slide are rubbed down to grey metal, and the lettering is partly faded. The outlines of the hand begin to break up on the grip, and the cyan splashes near the baseplate are thinned out. In game the gun looks clearly worn, with the motif still recognisable. The central part of the frame keeps the most paint.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir P2000 | Handgun ranges from 0 to 1; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 7% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

It drops from Falchion Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Cyan, white or navy stickers placed on the slide continue the colour scheme without covering the BOOM ! lettering. Comic-style or cartoon stickers fit the drawn hand and the gag of the finish.

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since the slide edges and lettering show wear first.
• Look at the BOOM ! lettering and the cartridge on the slide, as these define the look of the skin.
• Inspect the bottom of the grip and the magazine baseplate for patches of bare metal.
