Show allAllSkin overview
Short Ochre relies on colour blocks rather than a pattern, so the tan body and orange grip remain the main recognisable features at any condition. In Field-Tested the paint starts to chip along the rail, muzzle area and magazine edges, letting dark metal show through. The overall sand-and-orange look is still clear at normal viewing distance.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver, handguard rail and magazine are painted in a uniform sandy tan, while the barrel and muzzle brake stay dark steel. Orange accents mark the pistol grip, the stock butt plate and cheek parts, the scope rings and small controls along the receiver.
Chips become visible along the rail, the front of the handguard and the magazine edges, showing dark metal. The orange grip and stock plates pick up light scuffs on their raised parts. In game the rifle looks used but the colour scheme is clear. Flat areas of the receiver and the stock sides remain largely clean.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Short Ochre is 0–0.747; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 7 skins of the SCAR-20 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Orange, gold, brown and black stickers blend with the tan and orange scheme for a matching craft. Placements on the handguard and receiver sides sit on the large flat tan areas and read clearly. A single dark or white sticker can add contrast without breaking the calm palette.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since on a solid colour finish the amount of exposed metal is the only real difference between copies.
- Look at the rail ridges, magazine edges and muzzle end of the handguard, as these parts chip first.
- Inspect the orange grip and stock plates, because scuffs on them break up the two-tone look.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the plain finish reads.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want the colour scheme at a moderate grade.
- Those who like light signs of use on a utility-style rifle.
- A balanced middle option between clean look and lower cost.
