Show allAllSkin overview
In Well-Worn the orange spray paint on this SG 553 is clearly rubbed through on the rails, magazine and scope, showing darker metal underneath. The grid pattern remains readable on the flat surfaces of the receiver and stock. The rifle takes on a weathered, rugged look.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The whole SG 553 is painted in burnt orange with a dark halftone and crosshatch grid running over the receiver, barrel and handguard like a woven basket. The rail covers on the handguard, the lower part of the pistol grip and the ribbed butt pad stay black and frame the orange areas.
Paint is rubbed through on the rails, the magazine, the scope body and the contours of the stock and grip. Darker metal patches break up the grid in these areas. The flat sides of the receiver and stock keep the orange pattern, so the skin is still recognisable in game.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of Souvenir SG 553 | Basket Halftone is 0–0.6; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, white and dark brown stickers sit well on the orange grid and echo the black rail covers. Orange and gold stickers blend into the pattern for a monochrome craft. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver keeps them visible against the halftone.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade look noticeably fresher.
- Look at the rail edges, magazine and scope rings, which lose paint first.
- Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers that change the overall look of the orange finish.
- Check any applied stickers or name tag, as they affect how the rifle looks in your hands.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Players who like a weathered, rugged rifle.
- Budget buyers who still want the pattern readable.
- A worn look that keeps the skin recognisable.
