Souvenir SG 553 | Cyrex (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

This is the most worn version of Cyrex, where the clean high-tech look gives way to a rough, used finish. The white panels are heavily scraped, red parts show bare spots, and edges are worn through. It keeps the dark silhouette with red highlights and is the most accessible way to own the skin.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver is dark gunmetal with a white panel running along its upper side behind the scope, framed by thin red lines. The handguard is black with red sections and angular red inserts near the front, while the barrel stays plain dark grey.

The white magazine and receiver panel are heavily scraped and in places worn down to the base. Red sections on the handguard, grip and buttpad show bare spots, and edges are worn through across the rifle. In game the design is reduced to a dark body with broken red and white marks. Only the plain dark barrel and recessed areas look relatively intact.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1

The whole float range of Souvenir SG 553 | Cyrex is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

The skin’s collection is The Falchion Collection with 16 skins in total.

It drops from Falchion Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black and white stickers match the finish, as do holo or foil stickers in red tones. Placements on the dark receiver area keep the white panels clear and the overall design balanced.
