Skin overview

The black, white and red high-tech pattern of Cyrex remains the base of this copy, but the paint has taken visible damage. Well-Worn shows clear scratches on the white magazine and receiver panels, and the red trim loses its sharp outline. From a distance the dark body and red accents still give the rifle its character.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver is dark gunmetal with a white panel running along its upper side behind the scope, framed by thin red lines. The handguard is black with red sections and angular red inserts near the front, while the barrel stays plain dark grey.

The white panels carry obvious scratches and patches of lost paint, especially on the magazine. Red trim on the handguard and stock is chipped, with blurred outlines. In game the rifle reads as darker and less contrasty. The black base of the receiver and barrel hides wear best and still looks fairly even.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir SG 553 | Cyrex ranges from 0 to 1; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 7% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black and white stickers match the finish, as do holo or foil stickers in red tones. Placements on the dark receiver area keep the white panels clear and the overall design balanced.

• Check the float position within the wear range, since the white panels show the difference between low and high floats first.
• Inspect the magazine and the upper receiver panel, as they are the first places where wear becomes visible.
