Skin overview

SG 553 | Cyrex is a Classified rifle finish in a high-tech style built on black, white and red. Dark panels carry sharp red accents and clean white inserts on the receiver and magazine. In Factory New the white stays bright and the red lines have crisp edges, so the contrast reads at its strongest.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver is dark gunmetal with a white panel running along its upper side behind the scope, framed by thin red lines. The handguard is black with red sections and angular red inserts near the front, while the barrel stays plain dark grey.

The paint is intact on every part, with clean white panels and sharp red lines. The magazine and receiver inserts look uniform and bright. In game the contrast between black, white and red is at its clearest. Nothing on the rifle shows signs of use.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir SG 553 | Cyrex is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

The skin’s collection is The Falchion Collection with 16 skins in total.

It drops from Falchion Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black and white stickers match the finish, as do holo or foil stickers in red tones. Placements on the dark receiver area keep the white panels clear and the overall design balanced.
