Show allAllSkin overview
Phantom’s float range ends before the heaviest wear, so even Battle-Scarred keeps the main grey and orange scheme readable. Edges and raised details show bare metal, and the woven texture is broken up by scratches. It suits players who like a rough, worn rifle at the lowest entry point for this skin.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver is painted in dark gunmetal with blue-grey panels and a small light emblem near the magazine well. The handguard and magazine carry a fine woven, carbon-like texture, with thin orange stripes running along the handguard rail and outlining the magazine edges.
Bare metal shows on the muzzle, rail, magazine edges and stock, and scratches cover the handguard texture. The orange lines are broken in places. Because the range stops short of the heaviest wear, the main colours stay recognisable in game. The central receiver panels keep the most paint.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.6
The float of Souvenir SG 553 | Phantom ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.6 — 25% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir SG 553 | Phantom belongs to The Spectrum 2 Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Spectrum 2 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Orange, black, white and grey stickers match the Phantom’s palette, and holo or foil stickers in cool tones fit the blue-grey panels. Placing stickers on the receiver side keeps the woven handguard and orange lines visible.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade look noticeably better.
- Inspect the top rail, muzzle and magazine edges, as these parts lose paint first.
- Make sure the orange lines along the handguard are unbroken if you want a clean look.
- Look at applied stickers and the name tag, as they can add value or clash with the colour scheme.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players looking for the lowest entry point into this skin.
- Fans of a rough, scratched rifle with readable colours.
- Conclusion: the budget pick that still keeps the skin recognisable.
