Skin overview

This SG 553 finish uses grey and blue-grey tones with orange trim, and in Well-Worn the darker paint starts to lift from protruding parts. Scratches are visible on the rail, magazine edges and stock, giving the rifle a used, field-service feel. The overall layout of colours is still easy to recognise.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver is painted in dark gunmetal with blue-grey panels and a small light emblem near the magazine well. The handguard and magazine carry a fine woven, carbon-like texture, with thin orange stripes running along the handguard rail and outlining the magazine edges.

Paint loss becomes clear on the rail, handguard edges, magazine and stock corners. The woven texture starts to break up in the most exposed areas. At normal distance the rifle looks noticeably used but the grey and orange layout still reads. Flat central areas of the receiver hold most of their finish.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir SG 553 | Phantom ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 12% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Orange, black, white and grey stickers match the Phantom’s palette, and holo or foil stickers in cool tones fit the blue-grey panels. Placing stickers on the receiver side keeps the woven handguard and orange lines visible.
