Skin overview

SSG 08 | Abyss covers the rifle in a dark blue hydrographic with lighter cyan streaks that look like water seen from below. In Factory New the deep navy stays saturated and the cyan highlights stay sharp on the scope and receiver. The dark barrel and grey fittings frame the blue finish without competing with it.

Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The hydrographic covers the scope, receiver, handguard and stock frame in dark navy and teal with irregular cyan streaks, like light under the water surface. The barrel is left dark grey, the muzzle brake is a lighter grey and the bipod stays black.

The hydrographic is complete on every painted part, with no marks on the scope or receiver edges. The navy keeps its depth and the cyan streaks look crisp. In game the rifle reads as an even dark blue with bright accents. Everything painted looks clean.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir SSG 08 | Abyss is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
